Our independent research hosted on our blog is one of the ways we show what is possible with our tools. It is also a resource to the OSINT community in the form of free, high-quality research on a range of topics.

Some examples of our work:

• A deep dive into the explosive growth of Bluesky and the rise of inauthentic accounts pushing crypto scams that have grown alongside the platform.

• Identification of hundreds of war criminals from the Russian invasion of Ukraine using open methods.

• Alongside our partners at Code for Africa, we identified and investigated Pro-Russian Telegram channels that were stoking anti-UN discourse in the Sahel region.

• Investigation of romance scams run by notorious Yahoo Boys communities that have spread between mainstream and alt-tech social networks.
