## Overview

Open Measures democratizes tools that identify online extremism and defend against offline harm.

The web needs cooperative, transparent tools to contextualize the spread of online information that impacts public discourse and activity. We are opposed to the threats presented by coordinated online users, malicious state actors, and conspiracies aimed at causing mass harm.

We've built a platform to help individuals and organizations investigate the spread of harmful online content. In turn, our user community makes feature and data requests to help us build the best platform for the modern OSINT researcher. We want to help our users respond to the next generation of threats by providing an open and accessible way to conduct threat intelligence.

We have received support from organizations like Google Jigsaw, Mozilla Foundation, and Start.coop.

We are proud to partner with our friends at Distributed Denial of Secrets and [Open Collective](https://opencollective.com/openmeasures).
